MUSIC MASTERY INTENSIVE™

Program Policies & Safeguarding™

MMI policies are here so families, musicians, home teachers and BGE know what protects the work before enrolment begins. They cover attendance, eligible private-session changes, parent/guardian involvement, approved communication, recording, privacy, faculty conduct and professional boundaries.

Why this matters: a serious music-development system should strengthen the musician’s existing ecosystem, not create ambiguity about missed sessions, recordings, communication with minors, ownership of progress or the role of the home teacher.

Individual Sessions

24-hour written notice is required for eligible rescheduling; late cancellations are forfeited except where an approved exception applies. Faculty cancellations are restored. Private instruction is part of the recorded BGE/BGIPA environment.

Minors, Recording & Participation

Parents/guardians are the primary administrative contact for minors. BGE/BGIPA operates a recorded educational, artistic and professional environment online and in person. Where passive camera-off participation is available, families are responsible for the minor student’s camera, microphone, displayed name/profile and other user-controlled identifying information.

Featured instrumental performance, sight-reading, sight-singing, ear-training response, demonstration, coaching, adjudication, MasterClass, hot-seat, presentation and similar participation is recorded participation under the applicable Standing Commercial Media Authorization™. Private instruction is recorded; commercial/public use of private-instruction material follows the separate standing private-instruction media election.

BGE may edit, excerpt and extract clips from authorized material and decides whether any participant or performance is used at all. Permission creates no right to publicity, screen time, publication or inclusion.
