Terms & Conditions
Effective September 6, 2026 · Version 2.1
These Terms govern access to and participation in Bourne Global Enterprises Inc. websites, institutes, academies, programs, advisory services, educational products, events, memberships, communities and institutional engagements. Program-specific written agreements may contain additional or more specific terms.
1. Scope
These Terms apply across Bourne Global Enterprises Inc. and its current and future divisions and offerings, including the Bourne Global Institute for the Performing Arts™ and Vocal Mastery Intensive™ (VMI™), Music Mastery Intensive™ (MMI™), Dance Mastery Intensive™ (DMI™), Acting Mastery Intensive™ (AMI™), Speech Arts™, CORE™, ELITE™, Director’s Studio™, MasterClasses, assessments, intensives, professional/executive engagements, partnerships, advisory work and digital resources.
2. Agreement & Program-Specific Terms
By entering into an enrolment or engagement, the contracting adult or organization agrees to the applicable Terms, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and any signed enrolment, institutional, partnership or client agreement. If a specific written agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the specific agreement governs to the extent permitted by law.
3. Minors & Parent/Guardian Responsibility
Participants under 18 require appropriate parent/guardian authorization. The parent/guardian is the primary administrative and contracting contact unless an authorized institution is acting under a written arrangement. BGE uses Academy-approved communication and scheduling practices for minors and expects appropriate parent awareness and supervision of online participation. For minor students, parent/guardian responsibility includes supervising user-controlled camera, microphone, displayed name, profile image, background, chat and other identifying information according to the family’s selected participation status and applicable BGE/BGIPA policy.
4. Participation, Conduct & Learning Environment
Participants must engage respectfully and must not harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, impersonate or deliberately disrupt other participants, faculty, partners or staff. BGE may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect people, the learning environment, intellectual property or program integrity, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.
5. Online Delivery & Technology
Services may be delivered live online, on-demand, in person or through a combination of formats. Participants are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and learning environment. Where passive camera-off participation is available, a participant may elect it. Featured participation—including performance, speaking, demonstrations, live coaching, adjudication, hot seats and similar identifiable contributions—may require on-camera/identifiable recorded participation under the applicable media authorization.
6. Performing-Arts Enrolment Architecture
Where VMI™, MMI™, DMI™, AMI™ or Speech Arts™ is offered as a 12-month pathway, monthly billing is a payment schedule for the annual enrolment commitment rather than month-to-month participation. CORE™, ELITE™ and Director’s Studio™ have different levels of group, individual, specialist and/or developmental support as described in the applicable program materials and agreement.
Group absences are not individually rescheduled. Eligible private/individual sessions require at least 24 hours’ written notice to request rescheduling unless a more specific agreement states otherwise. Faculty cancellations are restored through make-up or equivalent provision.
7. Assessments, Placement & Faculty Assignment
Assessment, interview and placement processes are used to determine appropriate program fit and developmental pathway. Placement is not guaranteed merely because an application or assessment is submitted. BGE may assign or change appropriate faculty/specialists according to expertise, availability, safeguarding, developmental need and program quality.
8. Professional & Executive Services
Speech Arts Professional™, executive communication, advisory, consulting and private strategy engagements may involve confidential information and consequential professional situations. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to share organizational or third-party material. BGE does not provide legal, medical, financial or regulated professional advice unless expressly stated and delivered by an appropriately qualified professional under a separate scope.
9. Pricing, Currency, Taxes & Payment
Fees and currency are disclosed in the applicable offer, invoice or agreement. Unless expressly stated otherwise, public BGIPA tuition may be denominated in USD. Applicable taxes and payment-provider/currency-conversion charges may apply. A payment plan changes the timing of payment and does not change the underlying commitment.
10. Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling
The current Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated by reference. Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Intellectual Property
BGE curricula, frameworks, assessments, program names, teaching materials, recordings, templates, written content and proprietary systems remain the intellectual property of Bourne Global Enterprises Inc. or their respective licensors. Unless a separate licence expressly permits it, participants receive a limited, non-transferable right to use supplied materials for their own authorized educational or professional participation. Materials may not be copied, resold, republished, used to train third-party AI systems, white-labelled or taught commercially without written authorization.
12. Student, Client & Participant Materials
Participants retain rights in their own underlying original material except where a separate written agreement provides otherwise. By submitting material for coaching, assessment or participation, they grant BGE the permission reasonably necessary to receive, review, store and use it for the requested educational/service purpose. Where a Standing Commercial Media Authorization™ or other applicable written authorization has been expressly granted, BGE/BGIPA may exercise the broader recording, editing, clip-extraction, publication, evergreen, institutional, promotional and commercial rights described in that authorization. A participant cannot grant BGE rights in third-party material the participant does not own or control.
13. Recording, Media & Featured Participation
BGE/BGIPA operates a recorded educational, artistic and professional environment. Scheduled or designated online and in-person activities may be audio-recorded, video-recorded, photographed, livestreamed or otherwise captured. This may include private lessons/coaching, classes, cohorts, MasterClasses, Mass Zooms, workshops, seminars, interviews, assessments, auditions, adjudications, rehearsals, performances, showcases, demonstrations, hot seats, critiques, presentations, singing, instrumental performance, acting, dance/movement, speech/speaking/Speech Arts™ and other scheduled BGE/BGIPA activities.
Where passive online participation is available, a participant may elect camera-off/non-featured participation and is responsible for controlling user-managed identifying information and contributions. A student who elects passive/off-camera status may audit where available but may not simultaneously elect a featured role whose essential terms require recorded participation and the applicable commercial media authorization.
Where expressly granted, the Standing Commercial Media Authorization™ may permit BGE/BGIPA to record, reproduce, edit, cut, trim, crop, excerpt, extract clips, create stills/highlights/trailers, caption, subtitle, translate, reformat, combine, publish, distribute, advertise, market, sell, license and otherwise use authorized recordings/contributions for the purposes and on the terms described in the applicable authorization. Permission creates no obligation to use or feature any participant and creates no right to publicity, screen time, publication or future opportunity.
All private instruction may be recorded under the applicable recorded-environment terms. Commercial/public use of private-instruction material is governed by the applicable separate standing election/authorization.

14. Privacy & Data
Personal information is handled under the current Privacy Policy and applicable law. BGE seeks to collect and retain information reasonably necessary for delivery, safeguarding, administration, legal/compliance obligations and legitimate business operations. Program partners and service providers receive access only as appropriate to their role and applicable agreements.
15. Safeguarding
Faculty and professionals serving minors must comply with BGE safeguarding, communications, confidentiality, recording and conduct requirements and complete applicable identity/reference and legally required background or vulnerable-sector screening before unsupervised teaching access. Parents/guardians and institutional partners must cooperate with reasonable safeguarding requirements. BGE/BGIPA’s own recording does not give families, guests or participants independent permission to record or publish other students.
16. Community & Non-Poaching Protections
BGE communities and partner relationships are learning and professional environments, not prospecting lists. Unauthorized solicitation of students, families, faculty, clients or partners using access obtained through BGE is prohibited where specified by the applicable program, employment or partnership agreement. Any post-engagement restriction is governed by the specific written agreement and applicable law rather than an indiscriminate public non-compete.
17. No Guaranteed Outcomes
BGE provides education, development, preparation and strategic support. We do not guarantee casting, representation, admission, examination or competition results, scholarships, employment, promotion, investment, revenue, funding, audience growth or another outcome controlled by a participant, market or third party.
18. Professional Opportunities & Faculty
Publication of a faculty, clinician, adjudication, employment or professional opportunity does not guarantee appointment. Roles may require application, interview, references, screening, demonstrated expertise, eligibility to work and execution of appropriate agreements. Compensation and workload are governed by the written appointment rather than general website descriptions. Faculty/creator recording, media and commissioned-intellectual-property obligations are governed by the applicable employment or engagement terms.
19. Partnerships, Referrals & Affiliates
Referral percentages, remuneration, eligibility, attribution periods, non-poaching protections and payment timing apply only as stated in an executed partner/affiliate agreement. A website description of a potential partnership is an invitation to explore and does not itself create a partnership, agency, employment or payment obligation.
20. Third-Party Platforms & Services
BGE may use third-party communications, scheduling, learning, payment, video or productivity platforms. Those providers maintain their own terms and privacy practices. BGE is not responsible for outages or conduct outside its reasonable control but will make reasonable efforts to protect continuity of service.
21. Confidentiality
Participants must respect confidential information learned through private, cohort, institutional or professional environments. Executive/client confidential material and non-public student information must not be disclosed without authorization except where required by law. More detailed confidentiality obligations may appear in specific agreements.
22. Accessibility & Accommodation
BGE seeks to provide reasonable accessibility and participation accommodations where practicable and appropriate. Requests may be directed to info@bourneglobalenterprises.com. An accommodation request does not guarantee that every requested modification is feasible, but it will be considered in good faith.
23. Suspension & Termination
BGE may suspend access for material non-payment, serious misconduct, safeguarding concerns, unauthorized sharing of proprietary materials or material breach of an applicable agreement. Financial consequences are determined by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, the applicable agreement and law.
24. Disclaimers & Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, services are provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated in a written agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
25. Force Majeure & Program Changes
BGE may reasonably reschedule or modify delivery where circumstances beyond reasonable control affect a program. Material remedies are governed by the applicable agreement, Refund & Cancellation Policy and law. Reasonable changes to faculty, sequence, platform or delivery mechanics made to protect quality do not automatically constitute cancellation.
26. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, subject to mandatory rights that may apply in another jurisdiction. Parties are encouraged to raise concerns promptly and attempt good-faith resolution. Any mediation, arbitration, forum-selection or waiver provision must operate only to the extent enforceable under applicable law and any specific signed agreement.
27. Changes to Terms
BGE may update these Terms prospectively as its programs and legal obligations evolve. The current effective date will be displayed on this page. Material contractual commitments already made remain subject to the applicable agreement and law.
