BOURNE GLOBAL ENTERPRISES INC. · PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Code of Ethics & Professional Standards
Version 2.0 · September 7, 2026
Trust is part of the work. This Code establishes the ethical and professional standards expected across BGE educational, artistic, advisory, executive, institutional, employment, partnership and community relationships.
1. Integrity & Truth in Representation
BGE does not knowingly make deceptive, materially misleading or fabricated claims about credentials, programs, faculty, partnerships, outcomes, availability, pricing or opportunities. Aspirational positioning must remain distinguishable from guaranteed results. We do not guarantee artistic, academic, professional, financial or third-party outcomes.
2. Student, Client & Participant Dignity
Serious development can include challenge, critique and high expectations without humiliation, coercion, harassment or exploitation. Faculty, advisors, specialists and partners are expected to exercise professional judgement appropriate to the participant, context and age.
3. Minors, Safeguarding & Professional Boundaries
Student welfare takes precedence over commercial, programming, faculty, guest or partner convenience. Approved communication channels, age-appropriate boundaries, parent/guardian administration and applicable screening requirements govern work with minors. No faculty member, guest, partner or community participant may use BGE access to cultivate secret relationships, inappropriate private communication, solicitation or exploitation of a minor.
4. Recording, Media & Participation
BGE/BGIPA operates a recorded educational, artistic and professional environment under the BGIPA Recording & Participation Policy™ and applicable consent/engagement terms. BGE recording does not give participants independent permission to record or publish others. Media authorization does not create a right to publicity, publication, screen time, attribution or inclusion. BGE retains editorial discretion over authorized material.
5. Privacy, Confidentiality & Appropriate Information Use
Personal, student, family, client, faculty, applicant, partner and organizational information is handled according to the Privacy Policy, applicable agreements and legitimate operational need. Confidential professional/client material and safeguarding information receive appropriately restricted treatment. BGE does not operate a data-broker business.
6. Educational & Artistic Integrity
Developmental recommendations should be based on genuine educational, artistic or professional need—not disguised sales pressure. Progression is not automatic upselling. Assessments, placement, faculty recommendations and specialist referrals should serve the participant’s actual developmental context.
7. No Purchased Outcomes or Improper Influence
Payment, sponsorship, partnership, donation, referral status or commercial relationship does not purchase casting, representation, grades, examination results, admissions, scholarships, awards, faculty recommendations, student placement or privileged access to minors. BGE separates commercial support from educational judgement.
8. Faculty, Guest & Specialist Conduct
Professionals must accurately represent qualifications and stay within the scope of their expertise. A guest, agent, director, adjudicator, clinician or specialist must not imply representation, employment, casting or other opportunity that has not actually been offered. Conflicts or dual relationships that could impair judgement should be disclosed and managed appropriately.
9. Intellectual Property & Commissioned Work
BGE proprietary and commissioned materials are used only within authorized rights. Faculty and guests must identify pre-existing or third-party material they do not have authority to license. BGE-commissioned curriculum and institutional assets are governed by the applicable employment/engagement/IP terms, including continuing modification and commercialization rights where agreed.
10. Partnerships, Referrals & Non-Poaching
BGE communities, partner relationships and participant lists are not prospecting databases. Referral economics, attribution and partner protections apply only under the approved written arrangement. Existing teachers, studios, schools and trusted relationships should not be displaced through misuse of access gained through BGE.
11. Fair Selection & Editorial Discretion
Not every qualified student, faculty member, guest, applicant, recording or performance will be selected, published, promoted or invited to every opportunity. Selection may reflect fit, readiness, educational purpose, capacity, rights clearance, artistic judgement, safeguarding, production needs or institutional priorities. Permission or participation does not create an entitlement to exposure.
12. Responsible Use of AI & Digital Tools
AI-assisted tools may support administration, analysis, moderation, captioning, translation, production and drafting where appropriate. Human judgement remains important for consequential decisions. Sensitive information should not be placed into tools unless the use is authorized and consistent with privacy/security requirements. Broad media permission does not by itself authorize materially new synthetic cloning of an identifiable person’s voice or likeness.
13. Accessibility & Accommodation
BGE seeks reasonable, practicable accessibility and accommodation without misrepresenting what a particular program can safely or fundamentally provide. An accommodation should not be treated as misconduct or lack of commitment. Where visible/audible recorded participation is an essential characteristic of an optional featured experience, a passive/auditor mode may be the appropriate alternative where available.
14. Complaints, Concerns & Non-Retaliation
Good-faith concerns about safety, conduct, privacy, discrimination, harassment, conflicts, service quality or ethical issues should be raised promptly through the appropriate BGE route. BGE does not prohibit truthful reviews, lawful complaints, protected disclosures or reports to authorities. Retaliation for a good-faith safeguarding or legal report is inconsistent with this Code.
15. Decision Integrity & Client Agency
BGE’s responsibility is to help a qualified person or organization make the right decision with sufficient clarity, evidence, safety and agency—not to make the largest sale possible. We diagnose before prescribing, do not manufacture urgency, evidence or certainty, and do not use prior agreement as pressure for a subsequent commitment. Where BGE has enough information to recommend a path, the recommendation should explain why, including when a smaller intervention may be sufficient. If unresolved uncertainty indicates that BGE is not the appropriate solution, BGE should be prepared to say so.
Clients and prospective clients retain the right to question, compare, request evidence, reconsider and decline. A previous micro-yes never obligates the next yes.
16. Financial & Commercial Integrity
Pricing, payment obligations, refunds, referral payments, commissions, scholarships and sponsored access must be represented according to the applicable published or executed terms. BGE does not promise earnings, business results or third-party outcomes. The current Refund & Cancellation Policy governs alongside specific agreements.
17. Accountability & Escalation
A breach of this Code may result in coaching, corrective action, restriction of access, removal from an opportunity, termination of an engagement or other proportionate action under the applicable agreement and law. Serious safeguarding, fraud, harassment, privacy or legal concerns may require immediate escalation.
18. Governing Framework
This Code works with BGE’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, BGIPA safeguarding and recording policies, employment/engagement terms and program-specific agreements. More specific approved terms govern the specific circumstance to the extent permitted by law.
