BGE is led by Cassandra Bourne, whose work spans more than three decades of elite performance development, education, adjudication, institution building and strategic advisory. Across very different environments, the recurring question has remained remarkably consistent: what architecture must exist around talented people and serious organizations for greater capability to become possible?
That question connects BGE’s work across human capacity, enterprise growth, organizational development, executive communication and the performing arts. The disciplines differ. The standard does not.
The Bourne Standard™
The right decision before the sale. BGE’s standard extends to how we conduct business: diagnosis before prescription, evidence before assertion, value before price, and agency before closure. We do not believe integrity requires timid offers or underpricing consequential work. It requires making the value, limitations, responsibilities, evidence and choices clear enough for the client to decide well.
That means we should be willing to recommend a smaller intervention when it is sufficient, explain why a larger architecture is warranted when it genuinely is, and say when BGE is not the appropriate solution. The goal is not to remove uncertainty through pressure. It is to resolve what can truthfully be resolved, bound what cannot, and preserve the client’s freedom to choose.
