Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective September 7, 2026 · Version 2.1
This policy applies across Bourne Global Enterprises Inc. and its current and future institutes, academies, programs, advisory services, digital products, events, memberships, institutional engagements and other offerings, subject to any more specific written agreement and applicable law.
1. Governing Principle
BGE programs and engagements may reserve faculty capacity, cohort seats, specialist time, production resources, curriculum access, institutional capacity and/or strategic resources. Refund and cancellation treatment therefore depends on the type of engagement. Where an executed enrolment, client, institutional, partnership, licensing, sponsorship or other agreement contains more specific terms, that agreement governs to the extent permitted by law.
2. BGIPA Performing-Arts Programs
This section includes Vocal Mastery Intensive™ (VMI™), Music Mastery Intensive™ (MMI™), Dance Mastery Intensive™ (DMI™), Acting Mastery Intensive™ (AMI™), Speech Arts™ and related CORE™, ELITE™, Director’s Studio™, MasterClass, assessment, intensive and specialist offerings.
12-month pathways: where a pathway is sold as a 12-month enrolment, monthly billing is a payment schedule for that enrolment term and is not month-to-month participation. The executed enrolment agreement confirms the individual financial commitment.
Group sessions and Institute-wide experiences: participant absences are not individually rescheduled or credited unless the applicable written terms expressly provide otherwise. BGE/BGIPA may record sessions under the current Recording & Participation Policy™; however, the fact that a recording exists does not create an entitlement to receive a replay, copy, download, make-up, credit or refund. Replay/access rights are determined by the applicable pathway, event, product or written terms.
Eligible private/individual sessions: at least 24 hours’ written notice is required to request rescheduling unless more specific written terms govern. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed without notice are forfeited except where BGE approves an exception. Approved make-ups are subject to program rules and faculty availability. A session cancelled by BGE/faculty will be restored through a make-up, replacement or equivalent provision appropriate to the engagement.
Assessments, interviews, auditions and specialist appointments: fees may reserve professional time, preparation, review and/or capacity. Cancellation and rescheduling terms disclosed at booking or in the applicable agreement govern. Payment for an assessment, interview or application-related service does not guarantee admission, placement, selection or a particular recommendation.
3. Speech Arts Professional / Executive Engagements
Professional, executive and organizational communication engagements may involve confidential preparation, document review, keynote/media/presentation preparation, specialist matching and reserved advisory capacity. The written proposal or engagement agreement governs deposits, rescheduling, cancellation and unused capacity. Once preparatory work or delivery has begun, completed work is non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Digital Products, Curriculum, Membership & Evergreen Access
Digital downloads, toolkits, curriculum resources, recorded learning, evergreen products, subscriptions and memberships are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, downloaded or materially used, subject to mandatory consumer rights and the specific offer terms. Participant technical failure, non-use or change of mind does not ordinarily create a refund entitlement.
Access to a recording or digital resource is a licence to use the material as authorized; it does not transfer ownership or grant a right to copy, redistribute, teach from, resell, republish or commercially exploit the material.
5. Events, MasterClasses, Intensives, Summits & Live Experiences
Event, MasterClass, intensive, summit, cultural experience and conference registrations are governed by the terms displayed at registration or in the applicable agreement. Unless otherwise stated, participant non-attendance does not create a refund. Speaker, guest, faculty or programming changes made reasonably to protect the quality or viability of an experience do not automatically create a refund entitlement.
If BGE cancels an experience before delivery, BGE may provide rescheduling, an equivalent alternative, transfer/credit or refund as appropriate to the circumstances, the applicable written terms and law.
6. Institutional, School, Studio, Choir & Partner Engagements
Schools, studios, choirs, cultural organizations, professional organizations and other partners may be governed by separate written agreements covering participant substitutions, cohort commitments, deposits, referral arrangements, faculty capacity, licensing, production responsibilities and cancellation. Individual participant absence does not ordinarily reduce an institutional commitment once delivery capacity has been reserved.
7. Licensing, Sponsorship & Group Access
Institutional licences, School / Studio Institute Licences™, sponsorships, underwriting, group-access arrangements and other organization-level commitments are governed by the applicable written agreement. Fees may reflect reserved rights, production, access, capacity and/or commercial commitments rather than attendance by any single participant. Refund, termination, substitution and unused-access rules therefore follow the applicable agreement.
8. Advisory, Consulting, Private Strategy & Corporate Work
Private strategy, consulting, corporate training, licensing and implementation engagements are governed by the applicable proposal or agreement. Deposits and completed work are non-refundable unless the agreement or applicable law provides otherwise. Prepaid capacity must be used within the agreed period unless extended in writing.
9. Payment Plans & Failed Payments
A payment plan changes the timing of payment, not the underlying commitment. Failed or overdue payments may result in suspension of access or delivery while amounts remain due. BGE will not treat a participant’s non-attendance or non-use as cancellation of an existing financial obligation.
Stripe and post-payment activation mechanics are implemented only when separately activated by BGE; this policy does not represent that any particular payment automation is presently live.
10. Scholarships, Sponsorships & Funded Seats
Scholarships, bursaries, sponsored seats and third-party funded participation are not redeemable for cash by the participant and may not be transferred, sold or resold unless expressly approved in writing.
11. Recordings, Replays & Participant Access
BGE/BGIPA operates under its current Recording & Participation Policy™. Recording a session and providing a replay are separate decisions. BGE may record an activity without providing participants with the raw recording or any replay. Where replay access is included, the applicable offer may specify duration, platform, permitted users and other access conditions.
A participant’s media authorization does not create a right to receive, approve, edit, publish or obtain a copy of BGE/BGIPA’s recording, nor does it create a right to be featured in any published material.
12. BGE Materials & Intellectual Property
Access to BGE curriculum, recordings, frameworks, templates, exercises, assessments, workbooks and other materials is licensed only for the authorized participant or organization and the authorized purpose. Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, teaching, resale, redistribution or commercial exploitation may result in suspension/termination of access and other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
13. No Guaranteed Third-Party Outcome
BGE provides education, development, preparation and strategic services. We do not guarantee casting, representation, admission, examination or competition results, scholarships, employment, promotion, funding, investment, revenue or another decision controlled by a third party. Dissatisfaction with a third-party outcome does not itself create a refund entitlement.
14. BGE/Faculty Cancellation & Material Changes
If BGE cannot deliver a purchased service, BGE will determine an appropriate remedy such as rescheduling, replacement faculty/specialist where appropriate, equivalent delivery, credit or refund, taking account of the applicable agreement and law. Reasonable changes to faculty, guest, schedule, platform, curriculum sequence, production mechanics or delivery format made to protect quality do not automatically constitute cancellation of the program.
15. Technology & Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for suitable internet, device, environment and timely access to online delivery. BGE will make reasonable efforts to address BGE-side technical failures. Participant-side technical problems do not ordinarily create refund or make-up rights beyond the applicable program policy.
16. Participant Withdrawal, Pause or Non-Use
Stopping attendance, turning off access, failing to use materials, changing personal plans or asking to pause does not by itself terminate an annual, fixed-term or otherwise committed financial obligation. Any permitted withdrawal, pause, transfer, deferral or early termination is governed by the applicable written terms and mandatory law.
17. Suspension or Removal
BGE may suspend or terminate access for material non-payment, serious misconduct, safeguarding concerns, unauthorized sharing of proprietary materials, misuse of communities/resources or material breach of an applicable agreement. Financial consequences are governed by the applicable agreement, this policy and law; suspension or removal does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
18. Force Majeure
Where circumstances beyond reasonable control materially affect delivery, BGE may reschedule, modify format or provide an appropriate alternative. Mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
19. Refund Requests
Where a refund may be available under this policy, an applicable agreement or law, requests should be submitted promptly in writing to info@bourneglobalenterprises.com with the purchaser name, program/service, payment date and reason for the request. Duplicate payments and BGE cancellations without an appropriate alternative/remedy will be corrected as required by the circumstances and law.
No fixed request deadline or processing deduction stated on an older version of this policy overrides a mandatory legal right or a more specific current written agreement.
20. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact BGE promptly about a billing or delivery concern so it can be investigated and, where appropriate, resolved. Nothing in this policy prevents a consumer from exercising a lawful payment-dispute, chargeback or statutory remedy. Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may be addressed through available evidence and lawful remedies.
21. Consumer Rights & Applicable Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, restrict or replace rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection or other law. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory right prevails.
22. Complaints, Reviews & Public Statements
BGE encourages concerns to be raised promptly and professionally so they can be investigated. Nothing in this policy prohibits truthful reviews, lawful complaints to regulators, legally protected disclosures or other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Defamatory, knowingly false, harassing or unlawful conduct remains subject to applicable law.
23. Governing Documents & Policy Changes
This policy should be read with the current Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, applicable BGE/BGIPA program policies and any executed agreement. BGE may update this policy prospectively as programs and legal obligations evolve. Material commitments already made remain subject to the applicable agreement and law.
