BGE Acting Mastery Intensive complete actor curriculum

ACTING MASTERY INTENSIVE™ · COMPLETE ACTOR CURRICULUM

Train the Actor Who Can Solve the Scene.

AMI’s curriculum is designed to connect technique, text, listening, voice, movement, camera, character, performance psychology and professional habits into an increasingly independent acting process.

Acting technique & truthful behaviour

Objectives, actions, circumstances, relationships, stakes, listening and responsiveness become practical tools rather than vocabulary the actor can define but not use.

Text & script analysis

Actors learn to identify structure, beats, shifts, given circumstances, subtext and playable choices so preparation begins before rehearsal rather than during correction.

Voice, speech & physical expression

Clarity, breath, vocal intention, physical availability and movement support character and communication without becoming disconnected exercises.

Scene partnership & ensemble intelligence

The actor learns to receive as actively as they send: listening, adjusting, taking direction and allowing another performer to change what happens next.

Camera & audition literacy

Self-tapes, framing, eyelines, material preparation, slating, audition communication and performance adjustment help the actor understand how different rooms ask for different choices.

Performance psychology & professional readiness

Preparation routines, pressure response, feedback, resilience, conduct and realistic understanding of selection processes help the actor carry the craft beyond class.

Interdisciplinary artistry

Where appropriate, voice, movement, music and dance can enter the work so triple-threat and interdisciplinary performers learn to integrate rather than compartmentalize.

The curriculum is complete when the actor increasingly knows how to work without waiting to be rescued by the coach.
