AMI CORE™ is for actors who need a reliable foundation before greater private individualization will create enough additional value. Through regular ensemble training, actors develop text, listening, truthful behaviour, voice, movement, preparation, performance psychology and professional literacy together.
What changes: the actor leaves with a repeatable way to prepare and rehearse, stronger scene-partner responsiveness, clearer use of direction and greater confidence that comes from knowing what to do—not merely hoping to feel confident.
Three 90-minute group classes each month
The cohort becomes a working laboratory where actors prepare, perform, observe, take direction, adjust and learn from how other people solve the same artistic problem.
Technique should become usable.
Objectives, actions, circumstances, relationships, stakes and subtext matter only when the actor can apply them to real material and remain responsive to the scene partner.
Voice and body belong in the acting.
Speech clarity, vocal intention, physical availability and movement support the scene rather than becoming separate display skills.
Prepare for different rooms.
Stage, self-tape, camera and audition environments require different scales and practical literacy. CORE introduces those differences without making professional outcome promises.
Build confidence through repeatability.
The actor learns what to do before a scene, what to notice while working and how to recover when a choice fails.
