Dancer preparing thoughtfully for the next stage of development

DMI ENROLMENT & APPLICATION PREPARATION™

Add the Right Development Around the Dancer’s Physical Training.

DMI enrolment begins by protecting what already works. Keep appropriate physical studio training central, identify the broader capability the dancer is missing, and choose only the amount of DMI individualization needed to add meaningful value.

The decision: CORE™ for broader artistic development around the studio; ELITE™ when those needs have become personal to this dancer; Director’s Studio™ when training, specialists, auditions and opportunities require coordinated direction.

Keep essential physical training in view.

DMI is online by design and does not replace appropriate in-person dance technique. Families should describe the dancer’s existing physical training so the wider curriculum can complement it responsibly.

Choose the right level.

CORE™ provides broad developmental education around the dancer. ELITE™ adds greater individualization. Director’s Studio™ is selective and designed for advanced dancers whose development needs coordinated direction.

Prepare useful evidence.

Training background, styles, repertoire/choreography, performances, auditions, goals and recordings where useful can help establish fit.

Understand what the pathway is designed to strengthen.

DMI develops the dancer’s artistic understanding, preparation, judgement and readiness so they can approach auditions, programs, companies and other opportunities with stronger capabilities. Selection decisions remain with the independent organizations making them.

Confirm schedule after placement.

Specific cohort times are established with real faculty and participants rather than advertised as fixed before the cohort exists.

Choose DMI for what it adds—not for something online training cannot responsibly replace.

CORE and ELITE proceed through the approved enrolment process. Director’s Studio remains selective and proposal-based, while appropriate local physical training remains essential.
