Deeper institutional capability is qualified privately.
Selected relationships may support broader programming, professional development or other institutional capability. Detailed partnership architecture, licensing structures, referral mechanics, implementation systems and operating requirements are developed only after mutual qualification.
When deeper partnership is recommended—and when it is not.
Recommended: when the first collaboration has created visible value, responsibilities are clear, both organizations have the capacity to continue and a deeper relationship solves a legitimate next need. Not recommended: when the first engagement has not yet proved useful, internal ownership is weak, implementation would create unnecessary burden or the focused engagement already solves the need sufficiently.
What happens next.
Where deeper partnership is appropriate, BGE and the institution clarify scope, responsibilities, implementation, measurement, referral or licensing mechanics where relevant and the evidence that will determine whether the relationship should continue, adapt or stop.
Depth is not status.
A focused engagement may be exactly the right relationship. Expansion is appropriate only when it creates additional value and both organizations can carry the responsibilities involved.
