Actor preparing with focus for assessment and performance

AMI ASSESSMENT & PLACEMENT™

Understand the Actor Before Choosing the Pathway.

AMI Assessment & Placement™ is for the actor or family who can see effort and potential but is not yet sure what is actually limiting the work: preparation, text analysis, listening, specificity, voice/body integration, camera literacy—or the amount of individualized coaching around the actor.

The outcome: a clearer developmental starting point and a proportionate recommendation, so the actor enters the pathway that addresses the real constraint rather than simply choosing the largest program.

Developmental rather than punitive.

Assessment may draw on appropriate performance material, conversation and live interaction so the actor can be understood in context rather than reduced to a single finished performance.

From evidence to recommendation.

The outcome may help clarify whether CORE™, ELITE™, Director’s Studio™ or another form of support is appropriate. The detailed assessment dimensions, coaching tests, weighting, placement criteria, readiness thresholds and roadmap methodology remain within AMI.

Leave With a Clearer Developmental Direction.

Assessment helps the actor understand what is already working, where the process is becoming less reliable and which next step is most likely to strengthen the craft. Casting, representation, admission and other third-party decisions remain independent.

Use the recommendation to choose the smallest acting pathway appropriate to the actor’s present development and goals.
