BGE’s Music Studio Partnership Program™ allows trusted studios and private teachers to introduce appropriate families to VMI™ and wider BGIPA development without positioning BGE as a replacement for the student’s home teacher.

The private teacher remains central.

A pianist, violinist, guitarist or other instrumental student may also need vocal development, speech arts, acting, performance psychology, musicianship, assessments or specialist support. The partnership is designed to add capability around the existing relationship where that serves the student.

Different studios may value different parts of the relationship.

A studio may want stronger outcomes for students, additional vocal or musicianship capability, a broader professional community for teachers, specialist access, differentiated experiences for families, eligible referral revenue, or a pathway for qualified teachers to contribute professionally through BGE. Those benefits can coexist; the studio does not need a single reason to explore the relationship.

Student value and partner economics can coexist.

The first question is whether the additional pathway is genuinely useful for the family. Approved referral partners may receive the established share on eligible referred CORE enrolments when tuition is actually received, under current program terms.

Professional opportunity can be separate.

Qualified studio owners and teachers may also explore paid BGE faculty, assessment, adjudication, MasterClass or cohort roles. Partnership status does not automatically confer a faculty appointment.

What BGE provides—and what the studio provides.

BGE provides the approved pathway, specialist delivery, relevant administration and the institutional systems required for the referred student or participating educator. The studio provides the trusted relationship, appropriate introduction and any context needed to understand fit. The studio does not surrender its private-teaching relationship to participate.

How value becomes visible.

We look for student usefulness, family response, smooth coordination, professional benefit to the studio, eligible referral activity where applicable and whether the relationship strengthens rather than fragments the student’s existing ecosystem.

From there, BGE can identify the relationship and starting scope that best fits your studio and the people you already serve.

Start with one family need, one student cohort or one area where the studio would value additional expertise. The partnership can grow only if the first experience creates real value.

A strong partnership should make the home studio more valuable to its families—not less.

Choose the relationship first: partnership for the studio, VMI when a student genuinely needs vocal development, or professional opportunities when a qualified educator wants to contribute directly.
