CULTURAL ACCESS GOVERNANCE

BGIPA Partner Media Protocol™

A clear recording framework for Cultural Access experiences so partner organizations, students, families and faculty know what may—and may not—be captured.

Green Zones

Filming or photography is encouraged within agreed limits.

Permission Zones

Capture is allowed only with specific approval or under defined conditions.

No-Capture Zones

Phones and cameras remain away. This may include backstage spaces, rehearsals, union artists, minors, proprietary production areas or any environment designated by the partner.

Rights before reuse.

BGE, students and partners do not acquire unrestricted commercial rights merely because footage exists. Parent/participant media status, artist permissions, partner rules, third-party music and other rights must be cleared before publication or sale.

Professionalism protects the relationship.

Every Cultural Access Day™ should establish the media rules in advance, identify who can authorize exceptions, and make those rules understandable to students and families.
